Kirin Ichiban is a 100% malt beer. Ichiban means "number 1" and refers to the process of brewing the beer. Only the first pressing of the wort, ichiban shibori, is used to create the purest state for the best flavour, extracting only the most flavourful part of the ingredients. This process gives the beer a clear and pure taste, crisp at the start with a smooth and rich flavour.
