Authentic Japanese whisky brewed, fermented, distilled, wood aged and bottled in Japan. Unlike many other "Japanese" brands these days.
Distilled by Kiuchi brewery, also known for their sake and craft beer (Hitachino). The Hinomaru Sakura-ra whisky pays tribute to the cherry blossom (sakura). It is aged in various casks types including cherry brandy, bourbon, sherry and wine casks. What makes the Sakura-ra most special, is the maturation in sakura cherry wood barrels which gives it a floral cherry blossom aroma.
