Shirataki Masu Wooden Cedar Sake Cup
The traditional wooden sake cup made of fragrant cedar wood. The masu was originally used to measure amounts of rice, but was later also used for drinking sake. Often used to drink sake with a pinch of salt on the rim. And still used in small japanese bars, but they will put a glass inside the masu and pour the sake into the glass until it overflows into the masu to give the client a feeling of abundance.
Tip: try drinking sake out of the masu with different kinds of salt.
